On Nov. 9, in the face of bi-partisan opposition, the House leadership dropped Arctic National Wildlife Refuge drilling language from their budget reconciliation bill.

Outstanding Rivers Campaign Launched
Calling for the preservation of at least the top 10 of Georgia’s unspoiled rivers by 2010, Georgia PIRG has launched a campaign to Save Our Outstanding Rivers.
